Hi Guys,
Had you thought of having a GRIB viewer / overlay for Nuno Navigator?
Cheers...

Hi Charlie,
Yes - we've thought about it and I expect it will happen at some stage. In the meantime there are many sources of Gribs and free viewers available.
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Yes I thought you guys might have. The difference between using Nuno in anger and sitting in a hydrographic office is giving me a different viewpoint!

Grib viewers are great, I'm a big fan of ZyGrib, but there is a huge difference between the enthusiast/open source software and something where the professionals do something I will pay for :) doing some proper passage planning makes you look at the weather much more closely.

If you are in the mood for overlays, had you thought about looking at Simrad or Furuno radar overlays? They have some interesting SDK's and an Ethernet/IP interface that doesn't look as hard as I initially thought they would be!

Cheers...
